Last updated 2026-06-17. Short version: the calculator keeps your inputs in your browser, the contact form only stores what you type in to send it, and the rest is standard traffic measurement. The long version is below.

What the calculator does with your ZIP code

Nothing leaves your device when you use the tree removal cost calculator. Tree size, access, stump preference, and ZIP code are read by JavaScript running in your own browser to produce an estimate, and that math happens locally. We don't receive, log, or store any of it on a server.

What happens when you use the contact form or request a quote

Submitting a form sends us the name, email address, and message you typed, routed through a third-party form processor, so we can reply or connect you with a quote provider. That's the extent of what we collect directly from you.

Advertising and cookies

Ads on this site are served through Google and its partner network, which set cookies to show ads based on sites you've visited before, including ones unrelated to tree service. To limit that, visit Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or check the broader opt-out list at optout.aboutads.info.

Traffic measurement

We run Google Analytics to see which pages get read and which don't, aggregated across all visitors rather than tied to any one person by name. A browser extension is available directly from Google if you'd rather opt out of that tracking entirely.

Cookie consent in the EU, UK, and Switzerland

Visitors in those regions see a consent banner on first visit and can accept or decline non-essential cookies there. Clearing your browser's cookies resets that choice the next time you visit.

Your rights over what we hold

Depending on your state or country, you may be able to ask what personal data we have tied to you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of it being shared for advertising purposes. Reach us through the contact page to make any of those requests.

Who else sees this data

We don't sell the information submitted through our forms to anyone. It's shared only with the vendors that keep the site running, mail delivery, analytics, and advertising, and only to the extent those vendors need it to do that job.

Kids

This is a home-services pricing site built for adults making a purchasing decision. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
